Case study - Gorey Mixed Development
Gorey was a large mixed development consisting of Residential zones and Retail/mixed use zones.
The overall design proposal was to preserve the landscape integrity of St. Walerans and retain existing large parkland trees. Commercial units were broken up by extensive planting to allow units to visually sit into landscape.
Conclusion:
Although separate in their treatment, all the phases and associated areas link into each other to create a total landscape giving order yet distinctive character to the overall development.
